When it comes to finding cosmetic and skin-care products that are as natural as they are chic, spending a solid chunk of a paycheck is typically non-negotiable. For anybody who is privileged enough to afford this luxury regularly, it makes sense. We probably shouldn’t be putting anything on our bodies that would seriously harm us if they went in them. But in an effort to close the gap between affordable and safe, Beautycounter is debuting a new line of holistic products at Target this week, and you’re going to want to stock up ASAP.
With a “Never List” that bans upwards of 1,500 chemicals the brand considers potentially harmful from their product lines, Beautycounter is committed to making sure their performance is as high-end as their aesthetic. With a gorgeous, minimalist design and products such as nourishing face oil (which will be produced exclusively for the Target) dew skin moisturizers, and sleek black charcoal bars of soap, it’s really no surprise that they also recently landed a Best of Beauty award this year.
But the best part of all is that beginning this week, you’ll be able to snag these products without breaking your budget. Popsugar reports that the brand will be premiering 17 skin-care and makeup items, and you’ll also be able to snag some favorites for cheaper than they retail at other locations. Unfortunately, it is a limited-edition collaboration, which either means you’ll have to get your fix now, or stock up for later. Regardless, we think this is a pretty perfect excuse to go shopping this weekend (as though we needed one either way!)
