While it’s not the first time we’ve seen Ashley Graham in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, it is the first time the first time non-models have graced the pages in their swimwear—even in an ad. That’s why it’s so exciting to see the stunning photos from Swimsuits for All’s latest campaign, premiering in SI. You probably remember the first time Graham was in the issue, in the company’s campaign back in 2015. It was a huge step forward for body acceptance, even if it was in an ad and not in the actual SI content. She went on to become the first plus-size model ever to grace the cover of the magazine last year. That one-page ad really helped catapult Graham’s career as a legit swimsuit model.
Now, Swimsuits for All is back with Graham again for the upcoming 2017 issue, putting her alongside “regular” women of all ages, races, and sizes, in the new ad campaign shot in Puerto Rico. In fact, the company pulled some local women right from San Juan. In case you didn’t know (which, we have a feeling you did), non-models make some pretty amazing models when styled beautifully.
Maybe even better than these badass photos is the fact that all of these swimsuits are shoppable—and not too expensive, either. They’re from Graham’s own Swimsuits for All collection, available now at swimsuitsforall.com in sizes six to 22.
