An observation we made while watching the 2016 Golden Globes red carpet: Uzo Aduba has never looked better.
And tonight, the Orange Is the New Black star, who was nominated for best supporting actress in a series, limited series, or TV movie, proved that even a short bob can make for killer beachy waves.
Aduba wore her hair parted right down the middle—and what made this style so great is that her roots, which were smooth but voluminous, gave way to a controlled, semi-uniform wave that framed her face. It was a beautiful departure from the usual sleek bob she wears on the red carpet. To complement the beachy bob, makeup artist Janice Kinjo kept the actress’s makeup simple, opting for a bit of blue eyeliner and a nude lip, mixing two new Burt’s Bees lipsticks, in the shades Juniper Water and Russet River.
