Remember those amazing Photoshopped images of two celebrities morphed together that were trending last month? Well, the folks over at Galore magazine have pulled the same feat on pop star Zendaya for their recent cover. But instead of using technology, Galore used makeup and hair spray (a lot of it) to transform Zendaya into a striking blend of the late singer Selena and supermodel Cindy Crawford.
In the photos, Zendaya’s rocking Crawford’s voluminous waves and signature beauty mark and clothes that look straight out of Selena’s wardrobe. Here’s one of the photos from the shoot:

The interview is just as good as the pictures. We’ve always loved Zendaya for boldly speaking her mind and fighting discrimination. When asked about her response to Giuliana Rancic’s infamous remarks about the performer’s dreadlocks at the 2015 Oscars, Zendaya explained why she felt the need to respond and why it’s important to wait, contain your anger, and come back with a thoughtful comment. “My parents always taught me that there is knowledge in your voice. I could have clapped back and gone off. Of course I wanted to; everyone wants to do that. I just kept thinking there were other young people dealing with the same kind of issue who were watching me to see how I would respond,” Zendaya says. “I think the way we react to things is a big indicator of our character and what type of person we are. I just had too much respect for myself and didn’t want to prove everybody right that’s waiting for me to be ignorant and do something dumb, so I took my time until I thought of the best way I could address the comments.”
