Four months ago, on a sweltering Sunday in July, the Allure fashion team took to the streets of downtown Manhattan to photograph the hottest pieces from the fall runways in action. Models Anais Mali (above) and Hilary Rhoda ran, jumped, climbed, and ordered coffee, clad in the season’s new lineup of coats, caps, skirts, and dresses. And as a hat tip to the quirky, individual beauty looks on recent runways, Allure’s fashion director, Siobhan Bonnouvrier, plotted with the hair and makeup team to fully transform the two models for each shot.Their tools: a variety of hair—punk wigs, shags, and slicked-down pixies—plus high-intensity eye shadow and shocking lipstick. Oh, and a Great Dane or two. See it all come together in this behind-the-scenes video. Who knows, you might just be inspired to go a little wild this fall.
