Let’s just say, we haven’t lusted after a trench coat like this since we watched Ingrid Bergman bid adieu to a trench-clad Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca…
Enter LE Trench. The newly-launched company was the brainchild of Dior beauty publicist Dianne Vavra, who was inspired by a beloved vintage leopard coat she’d acquired from a vintage store in Paris that was, in essence, a Francophile’s dream. In fact, while wearing it out and about in Manhattan, Vavra was approached by a Barneys buyer and flagged down by the infamous New York Times street style photographer Bill Cunningham in the same day. How’s that for a jumping off point?
The brand’s trench is not only affordable with its under-$500 price tag, but comes in three striking styles: Noir black, Rouge red, and our personal favorite, Serpent (shown above). Be sure to check out the brand’s adorable Instagram for inspiration on how to style this classic piece.
