Kim Kardashian has been slaying the platinum game since she first stepped out with icy-white strands during New York fashion week. And now she’s at it again, revealing a totally new hair transformation — this time in the form of arguably the sleekest lob we’ve ever laid eyes on. (Perhaps sis Kourtney was her inspo?)
The 37-year-old multihyphenate took to Snapchat Tuesday night to show off her freshly chopped, collarbone-grazing cut, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, who also posted about Kardashian’s new style. “ATOMIC BLONDE ✂️ Bringing back the shine Love this blunt chop on @kimkardashian,” reads his caption on a cute video of the star admiring her new look.
Kardashian took her new blunt lob for a spin Tuesday night at a pop-up event in L.A., where she wore a chic gray cutout dress that closely matched her frosty hair color. It also appears she’s still — if not even more — into the grown-out-roots aesthetic, as you can see in the photos. She has roughly an inch of dark hair before the “atomic blonde” comes through. “Obsessed. The roots are coming into their own ,” wrote one commenter, who I would say puts it perfectly.

Celebrity hairstylist and longtime Kardashian friend Jen Atkin also posted photos of KKW with her new chop, writing on Instagram, “back to work w @kimkardashian X @makeupbyariel X #jenatkinhair ” where she received legions of comments complimenting the reality star’s hair makeover. In the IG video, Kardashian’s hair almost looks lavender (though likely just a filter), but even hairstylist Andy Lecompte noted this in the comments section.

Needless to say, now I am itching for a lob like Kim’s, too. Though let’s be real: She could very well be back to waist-length strands next week. Only time will tell.
