When Olivia Wilde cut her hair to avoid looking like Melania Trump the internet went crazy. Fast forward two months and now the actress has a RL hair twin. Olivia Wilde unconsciously copied Kate Mara’s blonde bob hairstyle—and surprisingly, the duo couldn’t be any cuter.
It all went down at the Tiffany hardwear collection celebration on Tuesday at The Standard in New York City when the ladies hit the scene with matching haircuts and color. While some women would be upset that another woman wore the exact same look, that was far from the case with these two. They made light of the situation and shared what happened on social media.
“When you roll up to the party with your new look and it turns out you just single white femaled your friend you haven’t seen in a year. So fun checking out the new #TiffanyHardWear collection tonight. Thanks for having us @tiffanyandco!” the 32-year-old actress, and mother of two, captioned in an Instagram photo of the two smiling.
Later, Mara tweeted that Wilde had her permission to #singlewhitefemale her anytime. So cute.

Wilde may be blonde now (and serving major balayage inspo too), but through the years she’s had her fair share of hair colors. “When I was 12, I worked my way through the Manic Panic line, if you remember that one. I went with purple, green, blue—I really liked blue—and I really wanted to create a sunset effect, so I did orange into red,” she told Cosmopolitan.com. “I started with those punky colors at a young age and then moved into more high-end silky, creamy blondes, browns and reds. Now I mostly changed my hair for work, but I still change it up pretty often.”
