Recently, Emma Stone (shown above) went from her famous red hair back to her natural blonde, and though I generally love redheads, I prefer her with her with this shade. It makes sense; after all, it’s not a surprise that your own hair color would pair well with your skin tone and eye color. But although some women believe that to be a hard-and-fast rule, I think there are definitely exceptions. I mean, look at Sofia Vergara, who also says she’s a natural blonde. She told Self that she dyed her hair darker to be cast as “the hot Latin girl.” She added, “I’d always felt a little ‘too much’ as a blonde…being brunette toned me down a bit.” Natural or not, I can’t imagine any haircolor looking as good on her as her current dyed one.
Where do you stand on haircolor—do you think a shade far from your natural one is more flattering? Or do you stick to what you were born with?
