The best things in life have personal meaning. It’s true—we didn’t just make that up. So you can imagine how psyched we were to find out we could personalize our fave drink ever. That’s right, you can have your way with any LaCroix can of your choice—well, virtually, that is.
Refinery29 points us to My LaCroix, a site made for sparkling-water fans. Created by the same geniuses who did the Stranger Things generator, Make it Stranger, My LaCroix lets you make cans in any flavor and color combo you want. Uber? It’s now a flavor! Tumblr? You guessed it. Cilantro? Sorry if you’re gagging, but yes. This is why the Internet is awesome.
Nelson Cash, the firm behind it all, admitted they’re obsessed with LaCroix, just like the rest of us. “We’re addicted to LaCroix,” Sarah Gless, a designer and apparently the “Mother of Dragons” at Nelson Cash, wrote in a post. “Yes, we’re one of those companies. We’ve had 103 cases of the effervescent drink delivered so far this year, and we’re certain the UPS guy secretly resents us.” Probably, but maybe he’d love a UPS-themed can?
So what’s the point of creating something digitally without being able to actually hold your own can in hand? Duh, social media. Share that baby! The cans we’re already seeing on Twitter are hilarious.
There’s even one for underpaid creative types:
If you want to live deliciously, we suggest making your ultimate flavor. We’re still thinking up ours—Lean-In Lemon? Purple Rain? Schweddy Balls? OK, we just grossed ourselves out. Maybe we’ll stick with something in the Pumpkin Spice Latte family. (It’s not basic. It’s a staple.)
