Remember when video games were for slackers? Of course, Wii is changing all that. The latest: We got to try out the upcoming video game based on The Biggest Loser, which features avatars of Jillian Michaels (above) and Bob Harper. After doing a 19-minute workout and a challenge with a partner, we kind of got addicted (the typical side effect of video games, plus some sweat.) It’s pretty fun, and we got really competitive with our partner in the challenge—and it seems like a realistic way to get in shape. The game has a calendar that tells you what workout to do each day, and it can track your eating, calories burned, and weight. (You can input your personal goals—toning or losing lots of weight and the program calibrates whether you need a 4, 8, or 12-week program.) Side note: there’s even a yoga workout and, unlike any DVD, it tracks how many calories you burn. The game goes on sale October 27.
