It must be fall because another season of American Horror Story just debuted. But also, every fall something else magic happens — makeup gets elevated from being a rote part of your daily routine to something with truly transformative powers. It’s Halloween baby and to usher in the season of scary and spellbinding beauty, Strobe Cosmetics is bringing back two cult-classic palettes.
Every September, beauty brands start dropping Halloween collections but none so freakishly good as the American Horror Story palettes from Strobe Cosmetics, which according to the brand’s Instagram, are back to help you nail some ghoulishly good beauty. “They’re baaaack….The Freak Show and Hotel Palettes are back for one last restock,” the post read.
First up, the Freak Show Palette ($25), which despite the name, is actually a pretty tame fall eyeshadow palette with five shades: Twisty, a rich, warm Byzantium purple; Strongman, an icy shade of rose gold; Monsters Among Us, a “duo-chrome” shade that shimmers between green and teal with a warm brown base; Conjoined, a khaki colored base; and Bearded Lady, a solid chocolate brown.
The Hotel Palette ($25) gets a little wilder with shades like Addiction Demon, a rusty metallic red that looks a bit like dried blood; Room 64, a warm shade of camel; Checking In?, a ghoulish green; Royale, a princess-worthy rose; and The Countess, a “complex white” with red and pink undertones. Both palettes are vegan and cruelty free.

You’ll have to act fast if you want to get your claws on the cultish American Horror Story-inspired cosmetics for Halloween. “We are expecting these palettes to sellout very quickly, so grab them while you can,” the brand wrote on Instagram. Each palette is currently available for pre-order, so get in there now or risk the horror of missing out.
