Thanks to Instagram, winged liner is reaching new levels these days. It’s been transformed into unicorn horns, neon lights, and, um, penises. However, Emma Watson’s graphic eyeliner look from last night’s world premiere of Beauty and the Beast is the most wearable, safe-for-work take on the Instagram trend. Unlike the creative liner looks taking over our feeds, you can actually re-create the actress’s look for a night out or even brunch. Emma Watson’s graphic eyeliner was that low-key. We want to try it out ASAP, and luckily, it seems pretty easy to pull off.
On Instagram, Yoshimoto Bua shared some background on the rest of Watson’s makeup: “To balance the modern graphic eyeliner and bright coral lip, for me it was all about healthy moisturized skin and keeping her freckles, as well as brushing out the brow so they are a bit less groomed and more free-feeling,” she wrote. If you’re wondering what that gorgeous lipstick she used is, it’s Absolution x Christophe Danchaud #Sweetandsafekiss lipstick in #20. As for the blush, mascara, and foundation, you can find them in the caption below.
