Get a Free ColourPop Pressed Powder Because the Internet’s Favorite Cosmetic Company Just Hit a Major Milestone
Not to brag, but I just hit 500 followers on Instagram. ColourPop, however, just hit 1 million on Facebook, and they’re giving away a free ColourPop Pressed Powder with every purchase (while supplies last, of course) to show their gratitude for all the support. I, on the other hand, might just start liking more pictures than I usually do. But back to the freebie: The gratis eye shadow isn’t just any eye shadow. It’s one of the L.A.-based company’s first-ever pressed pigments, and it’s an exclusive shade for the big occasion. Milli, a metallic copper, didn’t drop with the rest of the new shades. (Sorry if you have that Lil Wayne song stuck in your head now. Blame ColourPop.) Milli was created specifically to help celebrate the major social-media milestone; the upcoming Alexis Ren collab would have been another great reason to celebrate, but I digress.
The limited-edition shade was swatched on Snapchat yesterday, and let me just say, I’ve never needed an eye shadow so bad. (Yes, more than the Lorac California Dreaming eye shadow palette.) The penny-like hue is so intensely pigmented that one swipe was enough for an opaque, foil-like finish. Plus, it looks like a copper version of Pat McGrath’s MetalMorphosis 005 Kit, only in pressed powder form. It has the same dazzling effect that absolutely mesmerized all of us a couple months ago. I can’t. Just look at these screenshots.
To take advantage of the free ColourPop Pressed Powder offer, all you need to do is enter the special code, “thanksamillion”, at checkout on colourpop.com. The only catch is that it only applies to orders with a $10 minimum. In the ColourPop world, you can get a couple new products to try out. We suggest shopping the Amanda Steele collection or the remaining items in the limited-edition Hello Kitty line.
