I never truly appreciate the highlighters I have until my friends use them. The fact that Sleek Makeup’s line of Highlighter Palettes give cheeks a blinding glow is common knowledge among makeup artists on Instagram and drag queens, but doing my friend’s makeup last weekend with the Solstice one made me truly realize it. Sleek Makeup is dropping a brand-new version of its beloved palette, and I definitely won’t be sleeping on its illuminating abilities this time.
Sleek Makeup called upon its fans on social media for feedback for its next Highlighting Palette, and the Copperplate Highlighting Palette is what they came up with. It joins the Highlighting Palette lineup with a quad of rich, warm-toned shades. Just as its name implies, you’re sure to find copper highlighters inside, as well as a rose gold and a bronze. The current shade selections for the palette collection are more on the lighter, cool-toned side, so Copperplate is the best suited for deeper skin tones so far. It also marks Sleek Makeup’s first powder-only highlighter palette. (The previous ones feature two powders and two creams.)

Because Sleek Makeup is based in London, you can shop the palette across the pond starting this week. However, the Copperplate Highlighting Palette won’t be officially launching in the U.S. until July. For now, you can drool over the selfies British makeup artists on Instagram post after trying out the palette, and you can shop the other Highlighting Palette options for $11 on target.com.
