UPDATE (July 27, 2017 8:50 a.m. EST): Two months after a sneaky Redditor leaked photos of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette, we finally got official confirmation that it’s happening. The best part is the follow up to the popular Modern Renaissance Palette is launching SO soon. Instead of giving us a month to prepare ourselves for the release of the Subculture Palette, Anastasia Beverly Hills waited until the launch date was six days away to announce its debut. That’s right, the new palette launched Tuesday, July 25. This is the same day you were able to shop a couple of firsts from Anastasia Beverly Hills, including liquid highlighter and matte lipstick.
And guess what? The much-hyped-after palette will most likely be a apart of the line’s permanent collection, according to Claudia Soare, the president of ABH and daughter of Anastasia Soare. When fans began asking about the palette’s longevity on Twitter, Soare slyly replied: “If you guys like it, yeah. It’s up to you.”
Good news is that it's permanent & the holidays are coming up lol

Hmmm. With that said, we’re thinking Subculture isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. Well, when it’s back in stock, that is. The palette is already long gone on anastasiabeverlyhills.com. (Womp, womp.)
Keep checking back here for details on a re-stock. You’re going to want to get your hands on the Subculture palette — limited edition or not — when it becomes available for $42 at anastasiabeverlyhills.com.

Leaks are seldom a good thing. However, in the case of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette, our Monday is basically made. (Sorry, Anastasia.) A Redditor posted pictures of the upcoming palette on the Makeup Addiction subreddit saying, “a friend of mine works for abh and snagged me one hot off the presses.” Honestly, we had no idea this palette was happening, but now, we need it.
While everyone on the thread started questioning whether the poster’s friend would get fired for leaking the palette, we started to wonder if Subculture is the highly anticipated sister to the popular Modern Renaissance Palette. Claudia Soare, Anastasia’s president and the company’s namesake, teased a new palette during a Sephora live chat a couple months ago. She said the Modern Renaissance follow up is the same size and shape and is a “spicy”, “night” version. Well, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette seems to fit the bill. Like the Modern Renaissance Palette, Subculture has 14 square pans of eye shadow. It also comes in a rectangular case and includes a dual-ended brush.
The color scheme is completely different from its predecessor, though. The focus of Subculture seems to be on vibrant cool tones instead of warm ones. There’s also several gold and yellow shades. The one shadow the two palettes do have in common is a fuchsia hue. In Subculture, it’s called All Star, and it reminds us of Love Letter in the Modern Renaissance Palette.
During the live chat, Soare said the palette would drop during the fall. We’re glad we didn’t have to wait until then to get a sneak peek. We reached out to Anastasia Beverly Hills to confirm that this palette is indeed happening and will update this post when we hear back.
