My lashes aren’t exactly wimpy: They’re medium length and have a bit of curl to them, but they could use some help. Still, I don’t wear mascara often, but when I do, I want it to be obvious (or at least I want to appear blessed with eyebrow-grazing fringe). I tried false lashes once—to semi-disastrous results—and since then, I just alternate between Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara for day and Younique Moodstuck 3D Fiber Lashes+ for night. But after trying D.J.V. Miaray Fiberwig mascara, I have my new makeup-bag mainstay.
The superfast-drying formula instantly stretched my medium-length lashes to an extended but believable length that got longer and longer with each coat. The extra-long brush separated every lash with zero clumping (even with my overzealous hand).
The liquid false-lash formula is Japan’s best-selling mascara, and for good reason: The water-based formula is virtually clump-free and smudgeproof in a way no mascara I’ve ever used has been. Additionally, the coating repels oil, sweat, tears, and friction so you can be sure that one application will last you throughout the workday and into happy hour. My lashes weren’t even stiff to the touch after three coats (!). The best part? All you need to remove it is warm water.
