It’s no surprise that Lily Aldridge kisses well—even on paper. We asked the Victoria’s Secret angel to put her pout to paper, and I asked Jilly Eddy, a lip-print reader (yes, apparently that’s a thing) and the author of the book Lipsology, to tell us what it means.
Study the bow. The first thing we noticed from the lipsticked paper was how Aldridge’s Cupid’s bow isn’t, well, bowed. “When the Cupid’s bow print is straight across like hers, it means this person does not like to be told what to do,” says Eddy.
Compare the corners. Eddy checked to see if Aldridge’s print looked like a complete, unbroken O or if there was a break between the top and bottom lips. “The corners are open and not touching,” Eddy notes. “This person does not like to be bored. She likes to be busy all the time.”
Check the bottom. Another important marker is on the middle of the bottom lip. “The indentation in the center of the lower lip is the gourmet lip split. The person enjoys food and has a romantic, sentimental side,” says Eddy.
