Unlike facial cleansers or moisturizers, toner is a product that divides people. Some love it for the way it removes oil and any trace of dirt and grime left on the skin. Others think a face wash is totally enough. I was part of the latter group if I’m being totally honest. I just didn’t understand the point for my normal-to-dry skin. That is until I tried the new Milk Makeup Matcha Toner.
It’s the first solid toner on the market, and ridiculously easy to use. I used it in the morning after I cleansed, just applying the stick straight to my face. It felt smooth and hydrating, and acted a bit like a primer for my foundation. That’s because it’s infused with matcha green tea (which is also said to have detoxifying properties) and organic cactus elixir for max hydration. There’s also Kombucha and witch hazel ingredients meant are meant to purify your pores.
This isn’t the only matcha-infused product launching this summer. A detoxifying Matcha Cleanser stick is also rolling out alongside the toner. It exfoliates with microbeads and smells like a dream.
