An alleged sex tape of Blac Chyna leaked on Monday, and now her lawyers are addressing the video on social media and calling for police to look into the incident. Chyna’s attorney Lisa Bloom denounced “revenge porn” on her Twitter account, adding that the non-consensual leak of the footage rather than the footage itself is the issue.
“Revenge porn — posting explicit images without the consent of everyone in those images — is a crime, a civil wrong, and a form of domestic abuse,” Bloom wrote on Monday afternoon. “It’s also a way to try to slut-shame women for being sexual. Girls have killed themselves over revenge porn. It’s not a joke.”
Shortly after, Bloom responded to a Twitter user who wrote, “you can’t be on this case she knew he was recording.” “Whether a woman knows she’s being recorded is not the issue,” Bloom responded. “Whether she consented to posting is. Our bodies, our choice, each and every time.”
Meanwhile, Chyna’s attorney Walter Mosley took to Instagram with a caption condemning the culture of acceptance around revenge porn and calling on men to “do better.” “We have to change this culture of abuse and assault against women,” he began. “Today’s post saddens me deeply as it is an attack not only against my client but my friend. Why do we think it’s acceptable to sell, or publish, or seek revenge, or blackmail women in this way and without their consent? It’s not.”
“Men … we have to do better,” Mosley continued. “I’m tired of telling my clients to not make videos because the men will put them out later. It’s like I’m telling them not to wear short skirts because you’re going to entice a man to rape you. #smh And like most rapes, these betrayals often come from those most close to us… It is a morally corrupt action, which is (at least in California) criminal. Maybe it is time to set an example. #blacchyna”

Mosley also told USA Today that Chyna will be seeking a police investigation into the matter.
According to People, the sex tape in question was leaked on Twitter by an anonymous user and allegedly shows Chyna engaged in oral sex with a man. Chyna’s ex-boyfriend Mechie has identified himself as this man, telling TMZ that the encounter was filmed on Chyna’s phone and that he does not know how the leak happened, since he does not have a copy of the video himself.
“There’s not enough information right now to even know what happened,” Mosley told People before Mechie identified himself as appearing in the video. “An anonymous source posted a tape — could be from an ex-boyfriend, or stolen, someone texting it to someone else. It’s upsetting and troubling. After that Rob thing, she’s become a big target. It’s a sad time.”
Mosley is referring to an incident last July in which Chyna’s ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian shared nude photos and intimate videos of the star without her consent. Afterwards, Chyna was granted a temporary restraining order against Kardashian. Kardashian then filed a lawsuit Chyna for battery, assault, and vandalism; Radar obtained court documents in which Chyna denied these claims, arguing that Kardashian never “sustained any injuries, damage or loss, in any of the sums alleged, or in any sum, by reason of any act or omission of the part of Defendant.”
Additionally, Chyna brought a lawsuit against Kardashian alleging he committed domestic violence against her. Kardashian denied the claims against him in court documents obtained by The Blast, which read in part, “[Chyna] did not suffer any injury or harm as a result of any conduct by [Kardashian].”
